I have one that rarely bother constricting at all. (I feed FT) she just takes it and starts swallowing.

My blind ball Athena has done that. When I switched her from mice to rats, rather than strike at the bigger heat signature, she simply smashed the rat against the side of the tub and held it there until it died, then ate it.
I have also had a few of my bigger girls pin the rat with a coil of body to get it right where they wanted it before striking.

I have had one or two do this as well, though they were babies :rolleyes:
My black pastel female loves to crush them against the side of the tub too!
