Keeping my snakes/racks in a townhouse garage

Sorry I feel like some of you are under the impressions I'm trying to do this with no cooling or heating. So please let me rephrase and shorten my question.

Do they make a non window mounted unit that can cool an insulated room around 15x15 feet? Will one unit do heating and cooling or do they need to be seperate units.

About how much electricty $ do they take to run a month if they aren't on 24/7

Google "Spot Coolers". There are several there but they need to be vented. That is the closest thing that will work.

You should be good, I think it is also a heater but I'm not sure. if it does not a space heater is your best option

This is the same problem I was having. I couldn't keep my reptiles in the house due to the lack of space and my father fearing a 2 foot snake. As long as you have an plan to keep the temps regulated throughout the year then you should be okay. I honestly think it would be better to get them tubs and put them inside the house where they will be okay.

They live in a rack in tubs with belly heat.

If it was just my house and I didnt have a room mate I would definantly make the other room a snake room. Just cant happen. I would keep them in the common area somewhere but I dont want the smell or anything to be offensive even though I keep up on my cleaning.

Ive been looking around at a lot of portable ACs online and I basically dont see how this would be any different than the AC in a house, just possibly better... Could keep the finished, insulated garage at 77-80 degrees and the house a more comfortable 74-75 for the humans.

Is there something im missing?
