    I used a peice of paper. I couldn't find a ruler, and I knew the measurements. She's 2 feet long, give or take an inch.

    I only have one bp, and I like seeing how fast they grow. Too bad I don't have a scale. Oh well.

    I've seen people use clear poster tubes and other such things. It keeps them straight in the tube and you can see through it. Not sure what they do to keep them from getting stuck, but you get the idea.

    I measured my biggest female once, using a fabric measuring tape. She was about 5 feet.

    Beyond that, I don't bother. I weigh them, that's all.

    #1 question asked when I try to sell any bp: How long is he?

    Not "what is he eating?" or "did you hatch him?" or "how old is he?" or "Are there any health issues?" or etc...etc...etc...I'll never understand why... :confused:
