No dice. What do you guys think about leaving a dead f/t mouse in there ovr night... worked for me before with one of my new arrivals 2 years ago.. and how long until i should start getting worried about no feeding (sorry with all the newbie questions, haven't dealt with a new arrival shipped to me that size in 2 years)

I don't like leaving dead rodents overnight, but I can't see how it would hurt the snake. I would leave in in there for an hour and if your snake doesn't eat it then toss it. I wouldn't be worried for a week or two more at this point.

Looks good as long as the little guy can get off the tape. I might use a slightly smaller water dish in a tub that small.

Ok, it's probably because of the slanted sides of the dish. As long as your little guy can hang out on the cool side as well.

Just leave him totally alone for a week. Only open the tub to refill water until then. No handling until he eats. You may also want to throw a towel or something over the tub to make him feel more isolated and secure. And it's perfectly fine to leave a PK or FT rodent overnight. Sometimes, the funk of the warm dead mouse sitting there long enough will tempt them enough to eat.
