I keep my frozen rats in the freezer next to everything else. Frozen meat is frozen meat, just wrapped around different bones...

Re: Keeping mice in freezer, is it safe?
Before I bought a chest freezer from cl last month, I put all of my frozen feeders inside insulated foil wrap bags with an adhesive seal. Not only did it protect the rats from freezer burn, it had no contact with the frozen pizzas. :D

We have a separate freezer as well. But sometimes things get thrown into the regular freezer. Before the separate freezer, everything went in the freezer with our food.
