Flower pots work, but lack the sexiness of the RB ones.

I agree, RB has some awesome hides. Or, you can buy a small cat litter pan, cut a doorway in it, and turn it upside-down. Those work great as well, are easily cleaned, and are usually only about $2.00 at Walmart.

Cat litter boxes. You can get them just about anywhere, they come in different sizes, no shipping charges. Just melt or cut a hole, flip it upside down, and there you go...

old tupperware from secondhand/thrift stores. We do tons of looking through these places for critter gear, our best deal was 30 food dishes for our geckos for $1

Plastic flower pot saucers. They're inexpensive; come in sizes from small to 24 inches in diameter; are easy to cut with snips or box cutters; and are readily available at most stores which stock garden supplies, like Home Depot.

All other conditions equal, give most snakes a choice between a hide that's snug and one that's roomy (like the black one here) and they'll go for snug almost every time. Ophidian bonus points if they can feel the hide pressing down against their backs.

I use dollar store tortilla bowls for up to about 1000 grams. Then I use the dollar store storage tubs, the round ones they sell in the summer for all the others.

You can also use the big dollar store candy bowls, they sell them in colors that correspond to the holidays, you see red and pink at valentine's, green for st. patricks, pastel for easter, red white and blue for july 4th, etc. They are HUGE, and for only a dollar, these will fit even my 3800 gram female.
