    No glowing and ovulation are two different things.

    Glow = a lightening of the over all color of the snake due to hormones.

    Ovulation = a swelling in the lower 2/3 rds of the snake signaling that the bun is done.

    A lot of people pair from November to May before seeing eggs.

    Really? Pairing for 6 months before eggs? That seems like a long time.

    Yep, I start pairing in November, and some of my snakes do lay as late as May. In fact, last year I had some lay in June.

    I don't stop pairing until the females are consistently refusing to lock.

    Does anybody have any before glow/during glow comparison photos we could look at so newbies like myself will be able to tell the difference?
