Mites are just horrible

    I'm so sorry you're dealing with mites! I got a YB pair and a female fire for Christmas that came from BHB with mites. Luckily, they were quarantined and I got the PAM within that week, and they are now "seemingly" mite free. I still soak them every night, and reapply the PAM when/if they go to the bathroom, and pick off and kill any mites I find, but mine's semi under control. I PAMed my entire collection though, just to be safe. They are definitely a pain in the rear for sure though, I wish you luck with exterminating those filthy buggers :mad:

    I'm sorry you're dealing with them too, but I'm glad to hear you have it mostly under control. :hug:

    I've been hesitant to treat my non-QT collection because I don't know how that will affect my breeding females. I haven't seen any signs of mites in that rack and I'm hoping it stays that way. I think my Hog Island Boas were hit the hardest because their tubs were on the same level row that I put the BHB snake on. The other ball pythons in the rack had a few mites, but my poor Hog Islands were covered. :(
