Baby is coming in April, really can't wait as it will be our first! Lots to look forward to. Hoping it will grow up to enjoy snakes as much as we do, then gives me an excuse to buy more woooooooooooooooohooo! Lol

My 4 yr old daughter has been around reptiles since she was a baby. She now has 10 of her own cornsnakes, that she cares for on her own, and a normal bp. I see nothing wrong with having a baby and keeping reptiles, as long as its done responsibly :)

As long as caution is used, and you and your significant other are not worried, then don't worry about what others think. Or are worried about. You can't please everybody. They are your pets. My daughter has been raised around all kinds of animals, snakes and reptiles included. She has a love for all creatures great and small, and is going to be a great pet owner one day. The exposure is great too. Good luck, and congratulations!:D
