How to thaw large rats?

    I like to treat my rats like steaks (save for the cooking and human consumption part). I take one out in the morning and toss it in a ziplock in the fridge until evening. Then when I get home from work (5 pm if I'm lucky) I take it out and set it in the room at room temp until feeding time (around 9 pm usually).

    I'm with you - steaks! Plus its not convient for me to go get live ones every week, and my partner isn't going to have live rats in the house, its hard enough to keep the dead ones! lol.
