Justin Kobylka put up a Het Black Axanthic for sale a few weeks ago. its still up on his site. The listing says that this is the first time he has put anything from his Black Axanthic project up for sale.

I like the Joliff's for the tiger banding that they display as well.

That het does resemble a black pastel to me, and I did a search on more of the Black Axanthic and I think the GHI has more going on for that dark of a snake but my wallett wouldn't like it one bit.

Joliff's are nice, I just need to save up and go to one of the big shows to see more snakes in person.

personally I don't see axanthic but a better picture would help :) - If it is axanthic I would guess TSK because it's very brown, if he said it started with a G he might be thinking of the Joliff line. Like i said there is browning in every line. You can have a VPI that browns out completely, and a TSK ax that keeps its colour. But 90% of the time if you go with TSK you'll end up with a brown snake in the long run.

I did more research and your breeder friend may have meant the Graziani line which originated from TSK. yours may very well be an axanthic if its this line. How does your breeder friend know that it is?

Normal...Could be het or poss het Ax, but not knowing the line makes that irrelevant.

I agree no matter what line it is just not an ax. Really even with browning out they generally will turn a muddy color. But you will still be able to tell. Ax means the lack of red or yellow pigment. You can tell that this animal is a normal poss het Ax but not an ax.
