Re: When do you stop naming your BPs?
i voted that i'll always name them, even though i probably wont, but i will try to name any animal i get, but ive have some turtles that i couldnt think of a name for, no names for them screamed out to me like with the rest of my animals

Yeah, I'll always name them, but sometimes it takes me up to a week or longer to name them. :/ Kallista took exactly one week to name.

    The Serpent Merchant
I name any snake that I plan to keep if I plan to sell a snake then it gets a reference number

I can understand why breeders with dozens of snakes don't name them. But I don't think I'll ever have that many even if I do choose to breed at some point. So I'll always name mine. I also like the idea of referring to them by name when talking to people. And they're my kids - they deserve a name! :D

60 snakes and I can rattle off every name, and except for a few of the hets I can name them all by sight.

The only ones we won't name are any future hatchlings that we plan on selling.

The snakes are named. Even the breeder rats are named.

My husband's suggestion for every new snake is "Mr. Stupid." ("But that's what you suggested last time, dear." "Yeah, well, that one was also stupid." "But this one is a girl." "She's still stupid. And Mr. Stupid sounds better.")

With over 100 snakes, almost everyone is named. Some with creative names, others not so. Snake Girl and Snake Boy is the albino burm pairs name. See, not so creative

All my geckos are named, turtles, beardie and iggy are named. Same with the gator, he's Pissy Pants, lol
