Agreed, there's no way that's a normal: Cinny 100% Whoever you met with needs to sharpen up their morph skills before telling someone they're wrong!

Weird but kewl pattern and I would say cinny all the way. I know not all have that break in the head stripe but the majority I have seen do with the uniform head colour. That combined with the tricked out tail gave it away for me.

The funny thing is the fact that for some odd reason when I first saw the pic I was thinking Calico Cinny because of the tail pattern. It's a Cinny for sure though.

Another in support of it being a cinnamon. Head is obvious, and tail pattern also typical of several cinnies I've seen in person, or owned.

My votes for Cinny, the head is the dead give away! I think the dude told you normal so you would sell it to him for $40 bucks or so. Cheap.

    Sure looks cinny to me.

I've had two experiences like that, oddly enough, and in neither case were any parties involved inexperienced with BPs, just with that particular morph.

In one case, I drove up to buy a firefly and couldn't quite convince myself that it was definitely what it was supposed to be instead of just a smokin' pastel. It was probably a firefly ... But since I had that doubt, I chose not to take the chance. (Not to mention that I want my firefly breeder male to be a no questions asked, scream from across the room firefly, not a "yeah I guess he is" firefly ...)

In another case, I had a female sable that I offered for sale to someone, and he ended up sending pictures out to a bunch of friends because he just wasn't confident that he could identify it as a sable. (This sable is the most obvious sable I've ever seen, personally, but then, they are still kind of subtle.) I think he did agree that she was a sable, eventually, but decided against her.

I think that's a pretty nice looking (and obvious) cinny though.

The head and tail told me Cinny! I guess some people can't always tell a certain morph visually from another. Some close observing and pointers is all they need :gj:.
