    Wow, that's very weird. Unfortunately I don't have anything constructive to contribute, but good luck. These guys can be a huge pain in the butt sometimes.

    Okay, I'm not an expert here, but isn't the scale over the eye just a section of the skin. If i pull my skin, other skin moves because its all connected. So if the eye scale rubs against the glass, wouldn't the connective skin smear over the eye and then spring back? Like wiggling skin over your knuckle? I thought snake skin around the head and neck was really stretchy too...it helps with eating. I've never seen that either, but then again, my ball python's eye slides along the glass instead of sticking.
