    By now I'm used to snake showers......:)

    My snake wasn't overjoyed with his tail wrap/massage either but I got him to just lay still while I kept the wet towel around his tail.

    After a few minutes, I checked the skin to see if it was loose and soon as it looked like it was getting soft again, just a couple of backwards-pulls took it right off.

    Worse than a stuck tail was the same snake getting just a teeny-tiny piece stuck on the underside of his chin.

    It drove him nutz! but he wouldn't let me hold his head and moisten the shed-shred.

    He eventually got that bit off by himself.

    i just pulled her out and the skin is gone, so she must have ripped it off somehow, but thanks for the tips, i'll remember them for next time. now i just have to dial in the right amount of humidity for a perfect shed
