After feeding pair up?

i feed the females and pair the next day.

if they're full they're less likely to try and get away. HAH!

then i attempt to feed the males when they separate, but this time of year many of them refuse

I feed mine the evenings after I separate, and then pair after a 3-night break (includes feeding night).

I usually wait a couple days before putting them back in with the females.
