    If you're soaking your snake/substrate with water all the time, then yes, your snake might eventually contract an RI from the excessive moisture. I mist my Ball twice a day because she's in a screen-top tank and the humidity will fall to 40% throughout the day. My RTB only needs a mist once.

    Just be smart about it and you'll be fine. :)

    Okay...Thank You. Im new at this so trying to do the best I can. But I will go to the petstore first thing and get what I need to bring the temp up to what I need it to be. I just got her about a week ago so with her already going into shed its a little bit overwheming trying to get everything to what I need it to be.:(

    Just in case I missed it...cover 3/4 of your screen with tin foil or plexiglass. That will help keep humidity in. I was in your situation but I gave up and switched to tubs...its SOOO much easier to try to regulate the heat than the humidit!

    I went and got some moss today got it damp and wet it and put it in her hide, She really seems to like it!
    Also got my temp up...Hopefully she has a good shed (fingers crossed)
