It has been like 3 weeks. I handle every other day for 15 to 30mins. I did not handle for first week, and he does not act stressed in tub.

He'll mellow out...give him a few months...like was said above, he may hiss but probably won't bite..."probably" being the keyword... :D

A snake hissing is telling you to leave him alone, which means you just grab him up and handle him, leave him alone and you just reinforce the hissing.

I have a 3000 gram female that does the same thing and as soon as I have her out she acts completely docile and enjoy her time out of the tub.

My BP hissed at me for the first time when I went to go spot clean her tub and moved her around a few times to get her out of the way. It surprised me but she didn't strike or anything. Ever since then she hisses at me every other time I go to get her out and handle her. I see it as a "Hey, I'm comfortable what do you want?" type thing because once I have her out she's chill and starts getting all up on me lol :)

Some babies and juveniles are hissers. They almost always grow out of it, but regular (once a week), gentle handling helps.

And he could be going into shed. A lot of non-hissers get hissy during the early stages of the shed.

Does he always hiss at you, or is this the first time? And has he ever struck at you?

You can't really break or train bps unfortunately. Hissing when they are babies is pretty normal. I have a couple bps that hiss at me non stop, they haven't ever bit me though. I wouldn't take it personally. Some BPs are just grouchy about being disturbed.
