I use Faunaclassifieds for all my selling. They have a good base.

I can't keep an ad up in the pet section. There must be a dedicated group of breeder police in my area.


I noticed tho if you post in the farm section ads stay up longer. Miss those people just scanning whole pet section but if one searches specifically for a snake or gecko or whatever it will come up. Herps are technically livestock amirite? :D

My ads stay up for the most part, though I did have a week or two where some moron kept flagging me and posting "reply" ads telling everyone I was an evil scammer trying to take their money. :rolleyes: Because clearly MY ad was the suspicious one, not the people selling their het pastels!

Would that be a good place to sell for local people only? My husband won't let me buy the stuff to ship the snakes, he says it's too expensive. :rolleyes:

I really wonder about flaggers some days. I know it's not easy to get an ad flagged for removal. I decided to try one day after someone posted something that was in clear violation of the TOS (they weren't trying to sell anything either) and I got bored after 5 minutes. You have to refresh the ad and keep clicking prohibited. I don't know how many it takes to get an ad taken down, but I certainly didn't succeed after 5 minutes.

As for the het pastels, don't you know they are an extremely rare morph that you can only find on craigslist and bad pet stores? You breed a pair of them and get this super normal looking snake that you can then sell as pastel because that's the only thing it could be since both the parents were het pastels. :P I really do love all the misinformed people on craigslist. :rolleyes:

I think there are programs people can download that flag Craigslist posts. Not even joking, people have made programs JUST for that.
