if there was blood it could have been an esophagus tear. either that, or i would say the snake had problems already, since it was so young. But, if it had fed and pooped already...it's hard to say. I don't think any leftover bleach would cause bleeding out the mouth, though i could be wrong.
I'm sorry :( I would be devastated. Did you contact the breeder? Did they try to blame you?

It could be a heating issue(use a digital temperature gauge) or a internal issue! As for cleaning, I use soap and hot water to clean. Never used bleach and I have never had a problem! Sorry for your loss! I hope you can find the cause!

I'm sorry for your loss too, and I know how you feel. A month ago I bought my first bp and it was love at first sight. In the store she was charming and friendly but after the first day of having her home she became agitated and anxious striking out constantly. I have a tendency to spoil my pets so temps, humidity, and viv excessories were premium and she was in a brand new cage so no risk of contamination. After 1 week she died. She was fine that morning and dead that evening. No blood, no sign of respiratory problems, no mouth rot, no mites or ticks. She just died suddenly. I took her back to the store and they couldn't explain it either even though their vet checked her out. They gave me another bp but my heart wasn't into it for awhile. I have been paranoid that it was something I did wrong and afraid to get attached to my new one. I'm getting over that now and starting to bond with her but every day I wonder if she will die too.

Sorry for your loss. I agree with the necropsy, thats the only way to find out the cause of death.
