I don't do chins anymore.) Carrying around a harmless but annoying slab of dead skin seems to help their bodies calibrate better for the next shed...

    And next time you'll see it coming, so you can boost the humidity. And next time she'll be a little bigger, and it's easier to rub shed off of larger scales. It'll be better next time.

    Thanks! That's what I wanted to hear! Today, I made extra sure that the very tip of the tail was all the way off. It's fine, and no shed around her whole circumference. So, I guess I will just give it up til next time and hope it's better. She is not acting like she is shed, not aggressive or shy, and she hasn't gone anywhere near her humid hide. So if she is over it, I'm over it.
