    I definitely think there are better ways to prevent any perceived problems from owning pythons. The only two problems I could see are if People getting injured or killed by them and then being released into the wild. The first problem, while sad if someone dies or gets injured from a snake was likely there prerogative and likely negligence that lead to it. Darwinism can only work if you let it!!! Then the second problem of releasing can only be a real problem in places like Florida and some other southern states as I doubt many pythons can survive a year in the rest of the country in the wild. For those states, maybe require people to register that they have one, so that if all of the sudden they don't have one you can set up some sort of penalty.
