    Don't give him a bath after the shed. Besides being stressful for most snakes, it can actually cause more harm than good. I've yet to meet a snake yet who has communicated to me in some fashion that he/she enjoys it.

    If you are intent on cleaning him off, spritz him with a bit of water and gently wipe him down. Otherwise, leave him alone.
