Uh oh, what did we miss?
My wife and I saw the new movie. It isn't bad at all. Far worse stuff is shown on TV. The worse parts would be Bella in a bikini and supposedly swimming naked (with water up to her neck, so no nudity), bloody hands/mouths and lots of kissing. The whole "sex scene" was tame. No thrusting or anything, just kissing under covers and some comedy when Edward breaks the bed. There might be a little cussing here and there, but honestly, when aren't kids exposed to this in real life? I can walk through Wal-Mart and hear 10 people cuss before I leave. I personally wouldn't have a problem with kids watching it and can't imagine why anyone else would. They see and hear far worse on TV, the internet and in real life. My only holdup would be frightening scenes for really little kids.

That's a good point, but it doesn't mean parents shouldn't try to protect their kids from inappropriate things :P. this comment just reminded me of a story a friend told me. She said she was playing paintball with her daughter, and she was placed on the opposing team. She said she was shocked to hear the words coming from these young kids' mouths :O... She had no idea where they heard such things lol. She's a petite woman, so they probably thought she was their age .
