Something smaller....

So I think I am going to settle with one of the following for now.

#1) KSB (If I like them I will get more for breeding purposes)
#2) Granite Spotted (Children's) Python (They look like a mini burm IMO)
#3) Hoggy (Would love to get a morph, but they are so pricey!)
#4) More garters for breeding

I'm really leaning towards KSBs, they have some cool morphs. I may get a Granite Spotted just because they are so cool looking!

Opinions? :cool:

if you start with a baby KSB this one started as a poor eater but i doing well now so she is pretty small. this is her when i got her.

So I've decided I'm going to see if I can convince with a ksb. I really want a paradox snow if I can find a nice one. I'm also going to try for a granite spotted as a pet. :)

I highly recommend hognose snakes. Western hognose snakes have many available morphs these days, and the albinos in particular are becoming affordable enough.

If you want something a little less common, you could opt for a mexican hognose snake. I've got a good feeling that something really cool is going to pop up from mexi hogs in the next decade, plus it's just fun having something that isn't too common in the hobby.

I love my hogs. If I had to keep only two species rather than the 10+ that we average, it'd be carpet pythons and hognose snakes.

By the way, you can get just about any small snake past your mom if you get it as a hatchling. She'll warm up and acclimate to any growth if she sees it regularly.

True. I want a carpet but I'm not sure she would warm up to even a baby.

Carpets get very very long. They stay skinny though. But as babies they are tiny, like GTP, but not AS small.

There are also rosy boas, very similar to kenyans with a different look to them and a smidge bigger, if I'm not mistaken. Don't have experience with either though, just what I've gleaned from light research and seeing them around shows

Like 6-8' right? I knew they stayed thinner. I wad also looking at gtp too. Its still all up in the air.
