My two new Axolotls aparently endangered species

my speckled one died after eating the day before i gave it 1 inch length of a nightcrawler (suggested by the breeder) the albino wont eat

Oh no! I'm sorry! That's so bizarre, I wonder what happened! What's your setup like?

I have them in two small flat bowls and i think my wife n I are at fault we sprayed air freshener in the living room with the ceiling fan on it probably killed him and the albino is right side up and moving but still wont eat
