On a side note: I actually have read the caresheet about 5 times.

    One thing though:
When picking out a size of container for your snake what size is best with a baby ball? I am wanting to use a glass container and I will be covering three sides so it feels safe.

For a baby, a 10 gallon tank would work well, however I started with a 20 gallon long tank without issue. Just remember that every snake is different, and some might not do so well starting in a 20 gallon long tank. Welcome to the forum :D

So I should possibly buy both sizes and see which one he/she would prefer?

Thanks for all the answers guys/gals they've really helped out a lot.

I am thinking of actually just going to a pet store to hold one of their snakes just because I'm that desperate.

I've always put my babies in a 15qt tub and they have always thrived in that size tub with two tight hides.

It is always sooo exciting to get a new baby - just the anticipation is a thrill.

Best of luck to you with your choice of Ball Pythons.

I have been meaning to ask but forgot to. What does the numbers mean in your signatures? (i.e. 0.0.1 Normal)

I know you did, but I didn't read anywhere in your first post that you were going to move out of the dorms first so you can own a snake. Wasn't being harsh, just didn't want anyone to possibly get in trouble.

Anyway, hope you enjoy any snake you get!

    I hope I do to!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't 100% sure what you meant and just reacted to what I thought you said.

    Thanks,

And I apologize for coming off as a punk lol :P

To you other question: the numbers 0.0.0 refers to the number of animals you have. For example:

1.0 would be one (1) male
0.1 would be one (1) female
0.0.1 would be one (1) unsexed animal

so I have 1.4 normal ball pythons: one male and four females with no unsexed animals

    Hope that helps

Thanks! Now I don't have to be confused when I see it.

Also, I love the looks of your female Spider (Mox is her name?). She has an amazing color to her. In my opinion anyway.
