Maybe check out Rough-Scaled Sand Boas (Eryx Conicus). I wouldn't mind getting one of those myself...

Not all boas get large. Some stay about the same size all ball pythons.

I LOVE my BP and I am definitely open to getting another, I just want to see what my options are. My price range for just the snake is 100-200. Let me know what you guys think.

What are you planning on housing this new snake in?

The Island Boas are dwarf boas (http://www.riobravoreptiles.com/boas_island.htm), I believe there are a couple of other species of dwarf boas as well, such as the Mexican Dwarf Boa. There are also rainbow boas, rosy boas and sand boas. Those are all the come mind right away for me.

Well i have only really done research on the KSB's so if I got one of those it would be in a 10 or 20 gallon tank depending on gender. If I got a larger boa I would probably keep it in a Sterillite bin, but I would obviously do research on it for size requirements first.

Sand boas. I always suggest sand boas.

No problem. There are many dwarf boas out there. Males generally stay smaller than females in boas. All of the boas from Central America and Mexico are dwarf boas. Some of these include boas from Cancun, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Crawl Cay, Caulkers Cay, Sabogae "Pearl Islands", Panama, Corn Island, Hog Island, El Salvador, and Sonora, among others.

    I hope this helps.
