This is true. I figured last year they looked real healthy and were still eating strong so I would give them a shot but no takers. They knew they werent ready to be mammas yet:) Its looking alot better this year for them plus theyve got alot more weight and and extra year on them this time around.
I bet they will go for you this year! Good luck with them!

Every female I've bred glowed, typically around 6-8 weeks before ovulating, imo it's hard to not see a glow.
They shed then go into glow then ovulate then shed again before dropping eggs.
I've never seen a female not glow that dropped eggs.
