All these animals were basically rescues. Most have not had food or water for a few months. The previous owner only had labels on enclosures for the larger snakes and didnt tell him anything about him.

    Rescues from where?

These are not cheap animals. It's not that common for a high end collection to be mistreated like that.

How much did it cost him to get them?

And why not contact the previous owner and ask?

    I agree with Derek.

Something doesn't feel right about this. These are not just a bunch of easily replaceable, inexpensive normals, I have a hard time believing someone would purposely neglect higher end animals like that.

Not to mention, the baby pictured doesn't look that skinny or dehydrated for not having had food or water for a few months. Baby balls have much less reserves to live on than older snakes, show the effects of starvation and dehydration much faster than adults.

The one pictured has been eating. He paid 1500 for all the snakes, racks, heating, and incubator. We have tried getting ahold of him but are still waiting for him to swing by the shop to tell us what they are. The owner has had other things going on and was paying someone else to care for them while away. The guy didnt. The owner sold off some of the more expensive ones but was just tired of dealing with it.

I dont understand why this is so hard to accept.

This snake was takin to the recent Repticon in Tampa but all that anyone said was that it was a Mojave but there is something else goin on with it.

Just a full stripe mojave, just lucky that the stripe is all connected. Do a google search for a stripe mojave and you will see pics of them, its a nice trait to have...

Here is my mojave thats about the same just doesnt have the dorsal pattern connecting into a full stripe.

It is just a really good example of a mojave with a sweet dorsal stripe. There are a lot out there with terrible colors that almost look like normals. Yours has the right coloration. My baby had that deep rich brown as well with high white sides.
