    You might also consider a Dumerils boa. The males average 5-7ft and the females average about 7-9ft.

    ive never had a burm, but my first thought is to hold off on them if youve never had any "mid-size" snakes, ie carpets or rtb, something along that size line. but i would vote for carpet, ive always wanted one, but i impulsively bought an rtb baby (that i couldnt be happier with), so i cant have one any time soon really, but was planning on it being my next snake, maybe i'll try to trade her for one
