    She's not a Pastel (see below). However, she came from a Het x Het breeding and the original breeder is no longer in the ball python game. I was leaning towards YB, but that would be a million to one. I have a decent collection (no YBs) and haven't seen this type of belly on any of my snakes (morphs or wild types).     Shhhhhhh! :colbert: I was trying to get unbiased opinions and showing any dorsal or lateral views would give away the base morph.

    I was likely just seeing what I wanted to see, which is fine! I bought her as a Clown and that is all I expect her to be. I've just never seen a checkered pattern with yellow splotches on a non-YB. Again, I was just being human and seeing what I wanted to see.

    I guess I will find out in a few long years. Thanks for everyone's input!

    Definitely just a clown, especially since you say it's from a het X het breeding :)

    YB clowns have yet to be claimed, I'm working on them late next season but I'm sure somebody will beat me too it.
