look around for "groups" for sale. you can get a lot more for your buck. i'd get a male piebald and something like a pastel mojave (pastave). with that pairing you could get pastels, mojaves, and pastaves all het for piebald. i wouldnt say that they would be "easy" to sell but easier than some of the higher end designer morphs.
build some racks, dedicate a room for them and enjoy!

Get 1.1 piebald 1.1 clown and 1.1 either black eyed or blue eyed lucys. You can add in single or double gene females from there. Maybe a female albino to go with any of the males.

well depending on the type of science. I think a couple hets, a visible of the same hets, some codom genes. If it any health science you can do the genetics graphs and such, and if combined with the math, social studies and any health classes could help there too.

I agree you need to figure out on how many snakes want to work with then get the proper caging and other supplies to start with before getting snakes. I would also look into the need and room for breeding rodents if you need a long term supply for snakes. ( another expense ) I would also do some kind of contest to keep the interest for the kids in ( with parent's agreement signed ) and offer extra credit, prize with the snakes if allowed in your area. This will also possible help create future herpers.

    x2

Taking care of animals takes time, and researching their care, what to expect when breeding, etc., takes time as well. Running out of time could mean the animals suffer, even though that obviously isn't your intent.

If you are looking into making combos that haven't been made or at least none that I've notice have been made (from the genetics wizard on world of ball python) a mystic hasn't been combined with much. So maybe a mystic might be a good add to your collection :)

The clown and the pied sound great in theory, but starting with recessive morphs can be a pain.

If you are set on those two morphs then I would invest in at least one or two females that are het for clown and one or two that are het for pied.

If I was starting out I would buy a bunch of normal and pastel females, then get one or two multi-gene dominant/codominant males.

this was a really cool video! if only i went back in time :P

EDIT: Video by Brian Barczyk. In case you don't know, he's a very popular breeder with one of the largest collections in the world.

Also, he answers your question perfectly ;p
