Italian is actually my first language, and thank you! I've worked really hard to speak and write in English. :) I'm from Livorno, Italy (in Tuscany). I came to the states for school and am somehow developing this weird half Texas accent.

I would love to hear a half Italian half Texas accent  either way, welcome ;)

I am originally from Texas and spent 4 years living in Sicily. I know all about that half accent. For example:

    English: Good Morning
    Italian: Bon Giorno
    Texan: Bwaaahn Geeeooorno...

@ LGray23 When I get my Ball, I'll have to make a video of him then - haha.

@ Vypyrz - Hahaha, so epic! I teach a Physics tutorial section at my university for the undergrad and last night I kept pronouncing Volume as "Valium". How did you like Sicily? I have one Sicilian aunt. :)

I loved it there. We used to ride our motorcycles all over Sicily and Southern Italy. Learning to drive a car there was definitely an experience. I eventually learned insults in English, Italian, Spanish and French, just because I kept running out of things to yell at other drivers in the city...

I'm Italian and even I admit we drive like lunatics! I refuse to drive in Italy and just walk or take the train everywhere. It's much safer! I remember when I was first learning English - the first thing I learned was an insult lol.

I am so use to driving in the states, that when I go back home for a visit - car rides give me gray hair. That's saying a lot considering I spend most of my time hauling it in an ambulance. Lol.
