When you acquire more snakes ,do you plan on feeding them out of their enclosures as well? That could give you problems in the future (with new snakes) as ball pythons are shy feeders and most of the time moving them out of their enclosure makes them too nervous to eat. Of course that's only mho, she obviously has no problem with it.

Nice BP. I love strong feeders. My mojave is borderline psychotic when it comes time to eat.

What's with all of the newspaper on the floor under the tub?

I plan to get a rack system, and sliding in and out for feeding would be ideal. I really should start feeding her in her own enclosure though, youre right. Is it smart to lay down some newspaper or paper towel on one side of the tank above the substrate before feeding? that way theres no chance any substrate would get into her mouth.

I always put newspaper for the time being because sometimes she literally comes right out of the feeding tub. I mean like half her body is hanging out, and I still try and feed her. Sometimes she ends up constricting outside of the tub, and thats why I have the newspaper. So blood doesnt get on my carpet, cuz I do feed in my own room atm.

I personally feed in all of the enclosures. I use newspaper in the rack and aspen in the tanks and my tubs, I've only had a few instances where aspen got in their mouths and I had to physically remove it. Ingesting a little bit of substrate won't hurt them, it's when it's stuck in the mouth that can be a problem. Some people but paper towels or newspaper down, but even with only 10 snakes it's too much of a PITA for me :)
