Not going overboard at all, all I said is I would never order from them again, I gave no blame. I have found a place in Canada to get the product so no need to deal with customs anymore.

I know that it changes hands, and to be honest I try to only buy stuff in the states, seeing as how I am in the states. My point was to say every experience I have had with USPS was horrible. :P trust me, I understand completely about the customs delaying packages.

I've never had an issue with ordering things from pro products. I got my package right away and they responded to all my email questions right away. If it was shipped on September 29th they did their part to get the package to you as quickly as possible, I don't know how you can blame them for how long it takes to ship a product across the border. Canada isn't exactly a country that just lets things right in without question. I took a trip to Canada and we sat in customs for 2 hours while they searched EVERYTHING. They absolutely tore apart the car and of course our bags. Then when we drove back into the states the guy looked at us, said "you guys all American? Didn't bring any extras back with you? Alright welcome back!" I would suspect that the package was held up and checked out. If you want things right away I suggest you order things from your country. Any package that has to cross a border should be expected late.

I think most people are familiar with what REI is known to sell. whatever Craig was inquiring after either had nothing to do with the outdoor outlet or there was an implicit connection that was not addressed publicly in this thread. either way skiploder is not given to superfluous posts.

The titel of the thread was before the product arrived. just saying. I try not to buy from the USA due to delays in shipping some companies are very good at having all the correct paper work done and shipped some not. I can't speak for pro products but Permethrin is controlled chemical (carcenogen) and often gets seized at the border. Especially if the lable is not correct for Canadian standards, just like Canadian products have to re-label things for the US.

I will only ship with USPS to Canada I usually avoid the brokerage charges comming from the US it sucks when you order a 30$ product and get nailed with a 60$ brokerage fee on top of it. It is usually faster and cheaper to order from England why I can't say but it is much faster generally and cheaper, last year I got two 60KG (120) boxes from the uk over night for 60$ CAD the quote on the same product from the US was 600$ and 7-10 days. There is no logic to it at all.

I have ordered PAM from pro-Products directly as well and it took about 2 months to arrive. Luckily I was just getting it as a preventative and didn't NEED it, but it was still annoying. However, They forgot to ship it a month into ordering after pestering them a few times, they realized.. It still took another month to arrive.

I've ordered other things from the states (like Herpstats) which took no timeto arrive. I don't place blame on anyone, it's just how it is. I've received my product(s) and am happy. I never expect anything to go smoothly ordering from the states. :)
