I have a petstore display and racks. I prefer the racks for ease of cleaning and getting snakes in and out. My display is nice to show off the nice stuff. Put a PITA to clean!
I hear you! Display cages are not easy to clean!

I've used tanks. I've had individual tubs with lids as well. I am convinced now, after I built my rack, that racks are where it's at. They are the most efficient enclosure setups in many ways (besides transparency) which include, weight, size availability, space, cost, security, access for cleaning, and sustaining heat and humidity.

Personally if I am going to spend anything more than $100 for a snake I would want to be able to view it and have it in a nice enclosure not a rack system.
Sadly whether you buy a rack or a cage you are not gonna see your BP more, BPspend 80 to 90% of their time hiding so if you really want to see them handling is your best bet.
BP make a poor choice when it comes to display snake.

Racks are good for multiple animals if you only have one or two go with a cage you can see them more easily and they have more room i really like the boaphile cages and might get some when my boa gets bigger
