Wow...This stinks! Has USARK made a statement on this yet?

So let me get this straight, we are not going to be allowed to breed and sell our balls, corns, kings, etc in the state of Ohio? They do not make those lists very clear by just stating "constricting snakes". Last one only targeted large constrictors capable of exceeding 15ft (burms, retics, afrocks, etc). Is that what this is or is it really targeting everything from a harmless corn snake and up? If so, see ya later Ohio!

I can't help but notice that not many people seem to be freaked out over this? Am I blowing this out of proportion? Am I missing something? When Strickland passed the executive order last year, people were going crazy...It doesn't seem to be the case here.

Maybe they all already moved/left Ohio? I hear ya' though, there isn't much of an uproar over this, at least not on-line thus far. Maybe they're mustering the troops and preparing to file suit. Hoping that's the case, anyway.

I live in ohio, and I think this is total bs. What are those of us who already had our animals supposed to do? I will not give up my snakes.

I'm not good at reading those legal things, especially when I first wake up. I will have to reread it later, but--

Are current pets safe? Is every ten year old with a ball python breaking the law, or are their pets safe and they just can't get new ones?

This is ridiculous. I would be out of that state so fast... Horrible.

    This is horrible! :rage:

But how do we go about fighting back? It won't stop in Ohio. I have dreams of one day owning my own exotic animal store/education center.
