    Somehow, I forgot to address this earlier. Actually I don't think this particular animal will be a traditional "faded" albino, which seems to be another mutation in addition to the albino mutation, but perhaps located on the same chromosome in which it would tend to be passed along with the albino mutation. The reason I don't think this one in particular is a faded albino is because those normally hatch out looking nearly like snows (and the faded hets hatch out looking nearly axanthic). There are a few threads in the ball python discussion section of faunaclassifieds when you search "faded albino" if you are interested in seeing photos. However, the sire of this clutch was a very light albino (one of the reasons I was glad to get him for my snow project), and I am excited that he appears NOT to be a traditional "faded" albino due to the fact that I won't have to rely on the presence of the "faded" element to produce light albinos, and hopefully exceptionally light snows from this line.

    i love these and i must say i'm jealous i can't find anyone in iowa with axanthics al binos axanthics and fire are my favorites! just because they make every morph crazy looking! beautiful babies i'd love a axanthic
