The image of this in my head is quite funny but the fact you are giving it to a friend not used to aggresive bp's is not so good. Before you exchange owners i would make sure the new owner is aware of the past behavior, good luck with everything!

She has calmed down recently, she still has a bit of an attitude though.
My CA RTB on the other hand Is a ferocious monster lol. She hasn't gotten any better since she hatched out in July.

The funny image to me was using a snake hook to get a hatchling ball python out of those goofy glass enclosures at Petco.

ball python hatchling bites don't hurt, handle the poor thing and tame it down...:P
Gloves...NO, that doesn't teach them anything imo, take the bite if it's going to.

As mentioned if it's that aggressive when it comes to feeding make the f/t nice and warm and leave it in the tub.
If you are feeding live drop the prey in and close the tub, watching it when it is supposed to be eating is distracting it from it's task.

Oh good lord I'm glad mine hasn't tried to eat me yet...LOL I would have a heart attack. Working with huge dogs and wild cats doesn't scare me, but getting bit by my teeny baby BP does LMAO. Mine is a bumblebee as well and is very skittish, usually sits in a ball until I gently uncurl him and then he'll explore a little. It's going to take a lot of work to get him confident and "friendly" I think.
