    The vet did end up calling me back.. it seems that Horus was a female, who was riddled with cancer. her kidneys, liver, lungs.. just everywhere.. He was surprised she made it as long as she did.

    At least this lets me know that my other bird is safe, and I could not have prevented it.

    but I am not wanting to clean the cage.. it is going to take some deep breathes for that one :(

    Brandi, somehow I missed this originally. I'm so sorry for your loss of your beautiful friend. She had eight wonderful loving years in your care, a gift for both you and her. :hug:
