haha noted...and he was on hoppers before this mammoth meal...he ate it and loved it although being the noob started a thread asking about if a meal could take over 48hrs for digestion. I looked for something smaller in the petstore f/t section but it was the smallest that I could find (small rat rodentgourmet). Given the champion eater that my little guy is (easy transition i guess for a new snake owner) he took the mammoth rat down and didnt regurgitate it. He was pretty full and realized I should have made that transition from hoppers to weaned f/t. Guess we learn by the mistakes but everyone here has been very helpful!! He is growing rapidly tho..lol...came home to his first shed today!

It came off in two big pieces and seems to be all there...I cant make out any eyecaps and cant see him because he is in his hide and dont want to mess with him. Should eyecaps be included with the whole shed, easy to make out, or fall off separate?

i usually go with a meal that is 10-15% of my snakes weight. this always also worked for and may snakes seem to really grow of this percentage. My 420 gram male is eating rat pups (40g). haha that rat you fed her looks huge. She can defiantly handle rap pups if not weaned rats.
