Regardless if your not a troll I pray you find someone quick that knows how to properly keep these animals. Fish tanks were designed for fish not burms.
you obviously didn't read the rest of this thread.

My suggestion is to put the snake in a room all to itself, a spare bedroom or something and keep the door shut and locked that way the kid doesn't have access until you can fix it's cage while you look for a viable solution to the illegal part. Check the zoo's in your area, see if they want a snake that large. I did a quick google search for breeders in florida and picked up a few right off hand.
Diamond Reptile Breeders
For the love of Reptiles
Check make a post on fauna/kingsnake but ask for a photocopy of their restricted species permit that way you're covered. I gave you quite a few options here, and you made this post 2.5hrs ago and there hasn't been an update on the situation yet lol. If none of these ideas work, you're better off contacting the proper authorities, because all it will take is someone coming to your house for something, a friend, a stranger, someone there working to see the animal and get the ball rolling the wrong way.
best of luck
Thank you :)
I mentioned the baby to put emphasis the urgency of the situation
her tank was custom made by the breeder in NJ who sold us the snake
it's about 27feet long and 5 ft wide
it had a wood frame
the snake has pushed her bode against the tank vertically until it cracked and broke
and I've called the local zoo
their female Burmese Python has recently passed away
I'm waiting on a call back
I think it would be cool for her to go to a zoo so we could still go see her :P

The tank is 27ft long? How did you get that into your house?

Through the front door? Not every house is laid out the same. I could probably fit a 27" footer in my main living room. Stop trying to instigate lol.

Hopefully this works out, because a 15" Burm is definitely an awesome sight.
