    There is nothing about a rodent's coat that would harm your snake.

    The ONLY thing I would question, is a show quality angora mouse. They have hair that's 3-5 inches long, and that might be a problem.

    I had a woman at a pet store tell me that snakes HAVE TO HAVE fur on their rats. I dismissed that information almost instantly but if for some reason she was actually right I'd love to know.

    We were just debating this at the PPHS meeting today. Basically we were discussing whether or not hair aids in digestion by acting like fiber in a persons diet or if it's just waist that is inert. I honestly think it doesn't matter but I'd like to hear more from people who have fed hairless for a long time.
