Hermes peed on me about a week ago. That was sure a big surprise! He must have REALLY had a FULL bladder! Had to change my jeans and wash a throw pillow and rinse a spot on the sofa cushion! Now I keep a incontinence pad on my lap ;)
the kids reaction is too funny : P

Just like how my cats wait around for me to finish cleaning the litterbox so they can use it.

I would not consider soaking unless there is a real issue and the animal in question has a blockage.
There is no need to put a BP through necessary stress simply because they have a typical behavior and defecate when they need too.
Now if you see a buldge near the vet area for several days and nothing happens that's another story.

My girl almost pooped on me saturday : P Luckily I was just about to put her back in her tank after a handling session, the second I put her down, her tail comes up to the sky and a huge amount of poop comes out. It smelled pretty bad too, I wont lie. Hahah shes a pig

Re: Why won't she poop?
When I first got my ball at 5 months old he would poop a little healthy turd about once a week and have a perfect shed once a month. I moved about a month ago and he continued to eat perfectly fine in my new place but didn't shed for 2 months. Then he was showing signs of going into shed for almost 3 weeks and continued eating but stopped pooping. I soaked him once and then I started a thread cause I was nervous but everyone told me not to worry. FINALLY he shed nicely and pooped the same day, and the day after....aaand the day after that haha Perfectly healthy snakey just switched it all up on me :P As long as husbandry is fine and theyre eating healthy like people have said, I'm gonna try and worry less in the future ;)
