    I work with long and short wave UV exposure units and the data that came with it states the light blocking guards be in place and eye protection be worn at all time.

    The risk is slight but it is there.

    Thanks for this information, what about their effects on BP's ? I noticed that he can't really see that light.

    It is a guess but I'd assume that if the effects are due to long term exposure in humans I'd assume that whatever the effect it would be long term as well it is questionable. I don't think it is likely or an immediate hazard but there is doubt.
