Well we DID NOT cut them off. So for the record stop with the whole cut off thing. Could they have been bitten off, maybe but the whole litter?!?!? Also I'm not cutting them off to try to sell then as something they are not.
Also you are correct on the last pic. He is a standard coat I'm sorry the mother was a standard and father a double Rex. ( sorry it's a 1.3 group and they are all Rex or double except the one female not to mention she's one of two standard coats in that entire rack.)
So I posted the pics for ideas of what could be going on. So any ideas other then mutated as pinkies would be great lol ;)

Doesn't double rex + standard = all rex babies?

Well not sure but she is the only standard coat in the tub and the male is a double Rex. Look I dont really know much about rat genetics. I just pick out what I like and breed them together. So please don't imply like I'm lying. Obviously if I knew what the heck was going on I wouldn't of asked here. Our passion in breeding BP. We have our own business starting up so I would be lying or scamming with rats and risk messing it up. We have a great rep here in Ohio and on fauna as well. So I'm not lying im simply telling you what I know.

What's going on is the double rex may not be the only sire, or wasn't the sire at all.
As stated double rex to a standard coat makes all rex's, so it's not possible that the double rex was the only male to impregnate her.
The tail issue is probably a genetic defect with the clutch, I would never think you cut the tails off :O

Well she was a pick up from a pet store. When we got her they had just weaned all the babies.

That's crazy looking, whatever they are! Maybe some of this in the mix as far as genetics? http://ratsforpets.blogspot.com/2008...s-of-rats.html

I'm a completely moron with rat genetics I'm such a noob with them, so I won't even venture to say a guess as to what the heck caused that. You could always pull them out of your main breeding collection and work with them as a group to see if it's genetic or just a fluke. Or just feed them, lol! I'm interested to see what comes of this as far as answers...

Manx gene can cause a varying amount of "missing tail.

I'd hold them back and breed and see what happens.

If you don't want to, I'll take them all off your hands ;-)
