I would get a better thermostat. What type of incubator are you using?

I'm using a homemade melamine incubator that we bought that came with a Johnson t-stat

Mine did the same. All is good. Nature doesn't hold it on 1 degree for 2 months either.

Hey all, just thought I'd give an update. We are now 2 days away from the expected hatch day, they've started dimpling and still candle good. A window even developed in one of them. unfortunately it isn't at a good angle to see much. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/DSCF4655.jpg
I do have a question about the one on the right. it has started to develop bumps on the surface. Is this normal? and how often is too often to check on them. I keep wanting to check them but have to resist. So exciting!
Thank you all for looking

So yesterday we got a little impatient and cut the clutch. I'm Happy to say, everyone is healthy and it looks like we hit 3 spiders out of the clutch. Not the best odds in the world, but satisfying to see even one spider, and all healthy.
Congrats!! I remember our first (and thus far only) clutch last year. It was so exciting. I hope you guys have better luck than we did (we lost 2 clutches prior to moldy vermiculite that was sold to us). Can't wait to see them once they're out of their eggies :)
