I've never heard anyone recommend breeding a year-old female, no matter how big she is. Usually people say 2-3 years minimum, and preferably over 1500g before any attempts. Plus, the girl just won't go if she's not ready... I tried breeding my (then) 2+ year-old het albino last season, since she was well over 1500g, but it was a no go. Now she's 3+ years & over 2000g, and hopefully ready to mate! :)
Re: 13 month old breeder maybe
Good to know! Im Planning on getting Pastel Female at some point, as well as a BumbleBee Male. I more than likely wont attempt breeding until all three are of an appropriate age then, so I guess Ive got a couple more years to go before I try my hand at breeding XD
Re: 13 month old breeder maybe
Thanks for the repliys I wont breed her this year but I had to ask.So many people say one they hit 1500 grams breed it.And no sorry shes not fat she just grew at a crazy rapid rate I dont feed her more than anyone else..

Not always true.
It has been done. If the girl is truely as big as the OP states, then go for it. She will tell you much better then we can if she is ready.
Do you have a picture of her?

i would not say bogus, i have seen it before, like others have said, throw her in with a male, she will let you know, remember some breeders have successfully bred a male at 4 months old, if they are ready they will go.

I bred my pastel female her 2nd winter. She was around 1300g (15 months old) in November when I started pairing. That year she gave me 6 good eggs, the following year 7 eggs, and this past year 8 eggs. Just saying...
But 2000g at 13 months doesn't sound healthy or normal at all. My biggest/fastest was the mentioned pastel female. Every other snake I've had is usually in the 500-800g range at a year's age.
