I believe snakes are smarter then what people believe, look at the actions of some of them. I mean it seams they strike when you don't have food but then comes to you to crawl on you.

Or when my big girl, escaped after messing her cage with poop and dumping the waterbowl. I still believe she escaped and laid right next to me on my bed in balled up. As if she was telling me I needed to clean her cage.

Crepers I think you are thinking too much into it. ball pythons also detect the smell of food to get a feeding response. Also, you in bed was a good warm spot to go. They don't care if you clean their cage once they are out of it, I would be escape proofing though in case next time its under the fridge..

oh, man that is hilarious, ive never heard of a BP actually coming up to you just to bite you lol

Should've seen how he did it; he periscoped but kept his neck back like in a strike pose and managed to keep it that way with his head about 3 inches off the bottom the whole time he crawled over... just so he could strike literally the instant he was in range.

You need to meet our male spider. He is an evil little bugger since breeding began. Its scary opening his tub. One of our carpets is the same way and (big surprise here) our atbs will seek you out.
